This week marks the final countdown of my internship with the legislature. I have been drinking it in, trying to take advantage of each moment of this coveted experience.
Fourteen-hour work days. Late-night floor time, Heightened debate. Press intrusions. Lunch breaks at the Sawadee Thai restaurant. Bills are flying. Legislators are crying (I won't mention any names). Words are clashing. Passions are raging. Fists are pounding. And I observe and report.
